SV	De koning zond antwoord aan Rehum, den kanselier, en Simsai, den schrijver, en de overigen van hun gezelschappen, die te Samaria woonden; mitsgaders aan de overigen van deze zijde der rivier [aldus]: Vrede, en op zulken tijd.
WLC	פִּתְגָמָ֞א שְׁלַ֣ח מַלְכָּ֗א עַל־רְח֤וּם בְּעֵל־טְעֵם֙ וְשִׁמְשַׁ֣י סָֽפְרָ֔א וּשְׁאָר֙ כְּנָוָ֣תְהֹ֔ון דִּ֥י יָתְבִ֖ין בְּשָֽׁמְרָ֑יִן וּשְׁאָ֧ר עֲבַֽר־נַהֲרָ֛ה שְׁלָ֖ם וּכְעֶֽת׃ ס
Trans.	piṯəḡāmā’ šəl^aḥ maləkā’ ‘al-rəḥûm bə‘ēl-ṭə‘ēm wəšiməšay sāfərā’ ûšə’ār kənāwāṯəhwōn dî yāṯəḇîn bəšāmərāyin ûšə’ār ‘ăḇar-nahărâ šəlām ûḵə‘eṯ:

AC	יז פתגמא שלח מלכא על רחום בעל טעם ושמשי ספרא ושאר כנותהון די יתבין בשמרין--ושאר עבר נהרה שלם וכעת {ס}
ASV	[Then] sent the king an answer unto Rehum the chancellor, and to Shimshai the scribe, and to the rest of their companions that dwell in Samaria, and in the rest [of the country] beyond the River: Peace, and so forth.
BE	Then the king sent an answer to Rehum, the chief ruler, and Shimshai the scribe, and their friends living in Samaria, and to the rest of those across the river, saying, Peace to you:
Darby	The king sent an answer to Rehum the chancellor, and Shimshai the scribe, and the rest of their companions that dwell in Samaria, and the other places beyond the river: Peace, and so forth.
